Zerruco - An exotic experience.
An exotic Mediterranean and Italian fine dining
restaurant- Zerruco, providing a breathtaking ambience to their invites,
situated in Ashok Hotel, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi is one of the priorities for
foodie souls and enthusiasts. The Ashok Hotel itself is ringing bells for its
pleasurable and spectacular service and when it comes to food and luxurious
experience, it outstands others with its authentication.
Having spaciously designed indoors, which can handle
its gathering with ease, is great experience, perfect for premium dine-ins, for
small get togethers and family dinners.
The outdoors too was nicely built for encountering
nature’s beauty with live music. But as heat is banging the Delhi, it won’t be
the best option to settle down outside and letting go the air-conditioned
indoors.
The interior was done superbly, the textured ceilings,
graphical walls and stunning lightings gave a hypnotic effect, was totally cherry
on the cake and stole my heart.
Lets start with Mock tail!!!
1.The orange blossom:
A spectacular and delightful
flavour of orange, was a result of oranges, peach and blend of mint strawberry
and citrus fizz was heavenly refreshing.
2. The chef’s special rosemary cider made my heart
skip a beat, with its exciting flavour of apples, rosemary and carbonated sweetening.
SALAD:
BEETROOT AND GOAT’S CHEESE SALAD.
An amazing appetiser in chef’s special was a roasted
beetroot with goat cheese, served with amazingly garnished walnuts
complementing the dish, was an absolute stunner. The dish is a must have for a
turophile (a cheese fancier) like me.
Chilli lime garlic river sole :
The mouth watering and amazingly presented dish, with
perfectly marinated grilled river sole and fresh European herbs was served with
a garlic dip and it was quite predictable.
Wood fired oven pizza :
Ortolana pizza was a unique
mixture of herbs, topped over a oven roasted pizza and is a delight for
vegetarians. Amazingly presented, that, at a point, I thought of not eating,
and ruining its presentation, made it a mouth-watering dish for me.
The tummy was full and the Deserts were on table making
it difficult to resist. Food enthusiasts and we Indians have a reserve when it
comes to deserts, don’t we?
1. At first it was banoffee pie, an amazingly
scrambled bed for bananas, toffee and wiped cream on the top. It was a classic
and delightful dish.
2. Second was the Evergreen Chocolate Decadence: A
superb combination of chocolate pastry, served with a scoop of fluffed
ice-cream was carrying a X-Factor in my dictionary.
Quick service, premium fine dining and mouth-watering
dishes stole me from head to toe, in its beauty and ambience. The restaurant
provides a spectacularly 5 star amazing experience. So it’s a must visit place
for one looking for grandeur, luxury and mouth-watering cuisines.
Being at Zerruco was a heavenly experience and the
staff managed the gathering with ease. The restaurant passed with flying
colours in my story.
***the blog reminded me the mouth-watering banoffee
pie :’) ***
